As the organizer of this group, I am a relatively new guitarist, having only been practicing at it for about 4-years. Although I am certain that their are far more qualified individuals to organize a group like this than me, I thought that perhaps there are other acoustic musicians in greater Downingtown area that share an interest in getting together to jam, so here I go with the hope that more experienced musicians will join this group and help to shape it into a worthwhile excursion. This group was started to provide a place for acoustic instrument musicians of all playing levels to meet, jam, collaborate and have fun playing with others. The hope is to have a convenient location and time for regular biweekly jams. Another goal is to find a venue to host a regular open-mic.

Meet other local players, jam and have some fun making music and meeting new people. It's a great way to network and strengthen your skills. Open to all ability levels. Your voice is an instrument too, so feel free to bring it along.
