We are dedicated to bringing acoustic musicians and fans together in intimate settings. In the concert series promoted by Dallas Acoustic House Concerts, you'll be able to see and hear performers close up, and mingle with musicians and fans alike, before and after the shows. Many of the shows will feature after hours music sessions with the performers. So bring an instrument, your voice or simply your ears and experience the joys of participating in the creation of live acoustic music.

As we bid farewell to Valerie and Cory and wish them wonderful success on their new adventures in yankee territory, we are spinning up the unplugged group where it all began, at Serenity. This is a group for anyone interested in Bluegrass music, especially those who enjoy participating in or watching Jams and Live Performances. This group was created by the Southwest Bluegrass Club and it will share many opportunities provided by that club, but members of this meetup need not be members of the club, nor do they have to join the club to participate in their activities.
Beginning May 14 and running through October 22, 2011 there will be a bluegrass jam every Saturday morning at the Frisco Farmers Market. Participation is limited due to the fact that we jam on a stage around a mic stand with two studio mics. The jam starts at 8 a.m. and we are through by noon unless it gets too hot earlier. Come to the Northwest corner of the market and you will see us.

Is playing in a rock band on your bucket list? It's on mine. I've taken guitar lessons off and on over the years but never played in a rock band. So I formed this group to jam with other musicians. If you're an aspiring adult musician looking for others to jam with, this is the group for you. We also plan on performing in small groups at open mic nights in the area. Come join the fun!
